1. Identify the Exact Module and Construction Variant

Retain the complete manufacturer product code, available revision and original identification records before classifying the mounting surface. Keep an equipment assembly reference separate from the module code. A power converter, a module removed from it and a loose spare module are different deliverables; identify which item the owner actually proposes to release.

Infineon's power-module package overview describes baseplate-less products in its Easy discussion and a baseplate package in its Econo discussion. These categories show why module construction belongs in the identification record. The family overview helps locate the relevant documentation; it does not determine the exact construction of an unidentified seller's item.

Match the offered identifier to its applicable product information. If the code is incomplete or a revision cannot be established, retain the limitation. Do not copy a construction statement from another module merely because the housing looks similar. Where the record conflicts with observed included hardware, preserve both descriptions and ask the technical owner to clarify.

2. Keep Baseplate Construction Separate from Added Cooling Parts

Describe the module's documented construction in one field and the actual included cooling items in another. An attached heatsink or cooling assembly may be part of the seller's deliverable, but it should not replace the manufacturer's module description. Preserve any supported accessory identifier and distinguish supplied hardware from hardware shown only in an old installation photograph.

Keep available interface-material information with its evidence source. A record may describe material originally supplied with a product, material added during assembly or an unknown residue after removal. Those descriptions should remain distinct. An observation of the mounting face does not establish the material's origin, specification or current thermal performance.

If cooling hardware is excluded, say so rather than allowing a photograph of the former complete assembly to define the offer. If it is included, identify its actual condition and quantity separately. The enquiry should let a reviewer understand what would arrive without presuming that a module-plus-heatsink combination is approved for another installation.

3. Record Removal and Interface Observations

For removed modules, retain the known removal context and date where available. Describe whether relevant mounting hardware remains included and whether the mounting surface can be observed without altering the item. Keep unavailable history explicit. Previous operation inside equipment does not provide a present assessment of the loose module after handling or storage.

Photographs can record visible scratches, residue, missing hardware or terminal issues where those features are observable. State what the photograph shows and which item it depicts. Do not turn an appearance description into a flatness, insulation or thermal measurement. A clean-looking face likewise cannot establish internal semiconductor or package condition.

Retain any existing inspection or electrical report with its covered identifiers, method, date and stated result. An interface observation and an electrical assessment answer different questions. Do not clean, polish, dismantle or energise a module simply to make an enquiry look complete. Further handling or evaluation needs a qualified decision based on the exact product and agreed purpose.

4. Submit Construction-Identified Lots with Unknowns

Group the stock around complete supported identity and documented construction, retaining separate condition groups for unused and removed material. Keep unidentified construction or revision questions visible. List the included cooling hardware independently so an otherwise identified module is not silently offered as a complete original equipment assembly.

Confirm ownership and the authority to release the specific modules and accessories. Link permitted source and equipment records to their actual identifiers. The general stock-list guide provides wider quantity and location fields; the additional decision here is separating original module construction from cooling hardware and interface observations collected during or after removal.

For an ICULTRA power-module enquiry, send the exact codes, construction references, supplied-item list and available condition evidence. Describe unknown mounting or operating history directly. Ask which groups the recipient can assess and what further evidence is required. Acceptance, any verification work and commercial terms require written confirmation; the package overview does not establish usable condition or an agreed purchase.
