1. Preserve the Complete Dual-Diode Code
A stock entry labelled dual diode can leave the actual circuit unspecified. Retain the complete manufacturer identifier and any ordering suffix with the original pack information. Keep the shortened device marking in its own field. It may support identification, but should not replace the complete code unless the applicable manufacturer's information establishes the relationship.
Identify whether the offered material is packaged components or a board assembly containing them. Keep its count unit clear. A packaged dual device is the supply item; a description of its internal diodes is not a second quantity to add to the inventory total. A populated board also needs its own assembly identity and released scope.
Where pack labels and loose-device markings cannot be reconciled, retain both readings and the affected quantities. Do not move ambiguous units into a named-code group to make a clean total. Ask the authorised technical contact for the missing identification evidence and keep the classification conditional until the record supports it.
2. Keep Common-Anode, Common-Cathode and Series Types Separate
Nexperia's SOT1215 package catalogue lists dual-diode products described as common cathode, common anode and series within the same package category. The public descriptions demonstrate that the package category does not determine the internal arrangement. They are catalogue examples, not evidence that any of those products is present in a seller's warehouse.
Preserve the applicable arrangement in words alongside the exact code and document reference. These descriptions identify different circuit relationships; do not collapse them into a generic dual-diode field because their package description matches. If the topology field is missing, record it as unresolved rather than selecting the most familiar member of a family.
A topology description is not a terminal map. Where a reviewer needs physical terminal assignments or orientation, obtain the exact readable device documentation. This article supplies no pin numbering or unverified diagram interpretation. A marking dot, package outline or old board position should remain identification evidence rather than becoming an assumed connection instruction.
3. Distinguish Package Identity from Current Condition
Keep package identity, documented circuit description and physical condition on separate lines in the review record. A package catalogue supports classification of manufacturer products. It does not authenticate loose material, establish that every unit has the same internal device, or show the condition of parts removed from a circuit board.
Describe original unused packing, opened stock or removed components using the available history. Preserve visible terminal or body issues where observed. If a source record associates only some units with a complete identifier, state that coverage. An unchanged external package does not justify extending those records to every visually similar component in a mixed container.
Retain any existing electrical report by its identified units, method, date and stated results. A continuity observation or limited parameter result should not be expanded into a general functional guarantee. If no report is available, disclose that fact. Identification of a common terminal relationship answers a different question from whether the offered units have been assessed.
4. Submit Topology-Identified Lots and Explicit Unknowns
Separate confirmed codes and topology descriptions before grouping the sale quantities. Keep unknown suffixes, mixed identifiers and different conditions visible. A reviewer can then see which quantities have a documented arrangement and which require clarification. Avoid presenting a broad package total as an offer for one selected dual-diode circuit.
Confirm ownership and the authority to release the specific groups. Share the permitted pack records and identification references that support them. Use the wider stock-list guide for quantity, location and evidence links; the additional decision here is whether the internal diode relationship is identified independently from the housing description.
For an ICULTRA dual-diode enquiry, provide the full codes, supported topology descriptions and condition groups, with unresolved markings explicitly listed. Ask which exact groups can be reviewed and what further evidence is required. Inspection arrangements, accepted lines and commercial terms must be confirmed separately. A completed topology field does not establish substitution approval, test results or purchase eligibility.
